A Super-Easy Weekly Cleaning Planner
Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
It is a common proverb that we have a hard time adhering to. That is because when the weekend arrives, we have too much to do and so little time. The laundry basket is brimming with clothes and the leftovers in the fridge have started to get mouldy. And the less said about the dust bunnies, the better!
But you know what they say, ‘where there is a will, there is a way!’
Therefore, I am ready to share my 20-minute per day cleaning schedule. It will help you avoid accumulating cleaning chores for the weekend.
The Weekly Planner:
Make Room Monday:
Weekends are usually jam-packed with activities. And the kitchen is the focus of it all with everyone grabbing a bite whenever they are hungry.
So start your week by:
- Realigning the spice racks
- Bringing the utensils back to their positions
- Checking the leftovers in the fridge
- Wiping tabletops and other surfaces
Toilet Turbulence Tuesday:
Get ready to scrub away those grime and icky stains. Try to cover every nook and cranny of your bathroom from sinks to tubs.
Apart from this:
- Keep tabs on the toiletries
- Spray disinfectant
- Address any clogging or drainage issues
Wash Swash Wednesday:
Unburden the laundry baskets-wash and iron all the dirty clothes, towels, and bed sheet. Blazing through laundry day will prevent wardrobe woes at the end of the week.
Defeat the dust bunnies that have been raging a war against you. Get your broom and dust-busters out for a clean fight. Make sure that there are no cobwebs our dust residences at the end of your dust session.
Zoom through Friday with your vacuum. Cover all the large surfaces that get heavy-foot traffic like the bedrooms, dining area, and family room. You need to ensure your house is clean and dust-free for the weekend.
Make you roommates/family frantic cleaners. Get them to help you mop away the last trail of stains and let your tiles sparkle. Apart from that get your bed sheets changed for a fresh start for the coming week.
What do you do on Sundays?
